Pathologische Stimmermüdung: emotionale und physische Merkmale

Pathologische Stimmermüdung (Vocal Fatigue) ist ein häufiges Symptom bei Berufssprechern. Dabei wird eine steigende Anstrengung bei Stimmgebrauch sowie Verbesserung der Symptomatik nach Stimmruhe beschrieben. Bisher ist unbekannt, welche emotionalen und physischen Merkmale Vocal Fatigue definieren. Subjektive Beschwerden können systematisch über den Vocal Fatigue Index (VFI-D) erhoben werden.

Abstract

Pathological vocal fatigue is a common symptom in professional voice users. In general, a decrease in vocal capacity and increasing effort when using the voice, as well as an improvement in symptoms after vocal rest, are described. To date little research about the psychological and physical characteristics of pathological vocal fatigue requiring treatment is available. Subjective complaints can be systematically assessed with the German Vocal Fatigue Index (VFI-D).
